Consumer Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 18 September 2026 | Premier Building Materials Ltd

1. These Terms

These Consumer Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made on the Premier Building Materials website by consumers (individuals purchasing for personal use, not in the course of business). For trade purchases, our Business Terms & Conditions apply. Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order.

2. Your Contract With Us

Your contract with Premier Building Materials Ltd is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. This email constitutes our acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, in which case you will be fully refunded.

3. Prices & VAT

All prices shown on our website include VAT at the prevailing UK rate unless otherwise stated. Prices are correct at the time of display but may change without notice. Your order will be charged at the price shown at the time you place it.

4. Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, and Apple Pay. Payment is taken at the time of ordering. All transactions are processed securely through our payment provider using industry-standard SSL encryption. We do not store your card details.

5. Delivery

We aim to deliver within the timescales stated on our Delivery page. Delivery timescales are estimates and are not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes on receipt of full payment.

6. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason. To exercise this right, contact us at returns@premierbuildingmaterials.co.uk. You must return the goods within 14 days of cancellation. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. You are responsible for the cost of return unless the goods are faulty or misdescribed.

7. Faulty or Misdescribed Goods

If goods are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you have a right to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Within 30 days of purchase, you can reject the goods and receive a full refund. After 30 days and within 6 months, we will attempt a repair or replacement first. After 6 months, you must prove the fault existed at the time of purchase.

8. Disputes

We aim to resolve any disputes quickly and fairly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer your complaint to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme. As a last resort, you may seek legal redress through the courts of England and Wales.
